Originally developed in Conjunction with Statkraft Markets GmbH the simulation models a CCGT operating in the short term markets.

The detailed simulation gives a realistic insight to operating a CCGT asset the day ahead, intra-day and day after German electricity market.
Scenarios place the user under realistic time pressures where they are forced to make financial decisions. Scenarios also place the user in different situations for example:
- Price volatility
- Asset failures
The intra-day trading screen, where the user has 1 minute per trading period (1 hour trading periods) to seek out opportunities to optimise their position. Weather data (bottom right hand corner) will continually be updated.

Asset Characteristics (two different options available):
- 810 MW 2+1 CCGT (advanced)
- Unit can operate in 1+0, 1+1 or 2+1 mode
- 400 MW 1+1 CCGT
- Unit can only operate in 1+1 mode
